This Site is a United States website directed to United States consumers and governed by Unites States laws. If you visit the Site or make a purchase on the Site from outside the Unites States, you agree and understand that your information will be processed in the United States, which may not provide the same level of protection as the laws of  your home country.

“Aggregate Information” is non-personally identifiable/anonymous information about you, such as age, gender, types of orders made, frequency of Site visits, pages on the Site that you access most frequently, or search terms you enter. Aggregate Information is used in a collective manner, and no single person can be identified by that compiled information. For example, the number of people who placed an order on the Sites during a specific time period is Aggregate Information that does not personally identify a specific user.

You agree that the Site is authorized to transmit email to you for the purpose of informing you about your particular transaction.

In addition, the Site may offer order placement or promotional emails to those who have agreed to receive emails during registration or directly from our email sign-up form.

Unsubscribe instructions are included in each promotional email.

The Site does not share, sell or trade with third parties your Personal Information gathered online, except with your consent or as described in this Policy. The Site does not contribute to or participate in cooperative databases, which give other companies access to such Personal Information.

The Personal Information and Aggregate Information collected via our Site may be shared with reputable third-party organizations to contact consumers for marketing and promotional purposes. Third party contacts to our customers may be initiated only by postal mail. Except as described in this Policy, our Site will not share your telephone number or e-mail address.

The Site may divulge Personal Information if such action is required for STICKERGUM or any of our service providers or consultants to comply with any valid legal process, such as a subpoena, search warrant, statute or court order, or any valid administrative request from a law enforcement agency. In addition, we may divulge Personal Information if we or any of our service providers or consultants believes that such disclosure is necessary to address any unlawful acts, or acts that may endanger the health or safety of another customer or of the general public.

Note that we may share Personal Information and Aggregate Information with our service providers, consultants and affiliates for our internal business purposes only.

Visitors to our Site use different web browsers and different computers. To make your visits as easy as possible with the technology you use, we automatically keep track of information like the type of browser (e.g., Internet Explorer, Safari, or Firefox) and operating system (e.g., Windows, Mac-OS X) used by a visitor, IP address, domain name of the visitor’s Internet service provider, websites visited before and after, pages viewed and activities at our Site, and advertisements seen or clicked on. We also track the total number of visitors to our Site in an aggregate form to allow us to update and improve our Site. Personally identifiable information is not extracted in this process. The data collected tells us if more visitors prefer certain features or areas to others, which helps us keep our Site updated and interesting to the majority of our visitors.

Cookies and How We Use Them. A cookie is a small data file that websites, when you visit them, often store on your hard drive. A cookie may contain information (such as a unique user ID), which is used to track the pages of the website you've visited. Cookie technology helps us deliver content tailored to a visitor’s interests, and allows us to make ordering products, entering and participating in sweepstakes and contests, and offering other functions at our Site an easier experience for our visitors. Sites that offer online shopping use cookies to remember and process the items in your shopping cart. Where permitted, we may associate personal information with a cookie file in such instances. The Site also uses cookies to measure activity on our Site, which allows us to determine which areas and features of our Site are most popular. This information allows us to make improvements and updates to enhance your experience on the Site. Parts of the Site will not function if you do not have cookies enabled. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you turn off cookies or refuse them, though, you will not be able to make a purchase from the Site, nor will we be able to recognize you as a registered user to allow you access to your account information. To enable or disable cookies on your browser, please consult your browser documentation or contact your software provider.

Web Beacons and How We Use Them. Some of the webpages on our Site and e-mail updates may contain electronic images called “web beacons” (sometimes known as one pixel GIFs, clear GIFs or pixel tags). These are invisible tags placed on certain pages of our Site, but not on your computer. Web beacons allow us to count visitors who have viewed webpages at our Site. In promotional e-mail messages and/or newsletters, web beacons allow us to count how many subscribers have read them. Web beacons allow us to develop statistical information about the activities and features that most interest our consumers for the purpose of providing more personalized content. Web beacons are not used to access personally identifiable information without your consent.

P3P. The Platform for Privacy Preferences Project ("P3P") is a standard developed by the World Wide Web Consortium ("W3C") that provides an automated, machine-readable mechanism for understanding the use of your Personal Information by the websites you visit. P3P uses a standardized set of multiple choice questions covering the major elements of a website's privacy policy to provide a cross-section of how the particular website handles the personally identifiable information of its users. P3P-enabled browsers can automatically read this set of preferences made available by P3P-enabled websites and compare this information to the user's own set of privacy preferences. For example, Internet Explorer 6.0 requires third parties to set cookies to deliver P3P "compact" cookie policies with their cookies, and other browsers may use this mechanism soon. To enhance your online experience further, the Site is now P3P enabled. For more information on the W3C and P3P, please visit http://www.w3.org/P3P/. Given certain limitations in the parameters chosen by W3C, however, the P3P mechanisms may not describe the Site's privacy practices as accurately as this Policy. Accordingly, where discrepancies exist between this Policy and the P3P "compact" policies, this Policy shall control.

Protecting your order information is a priority for us. We use industry standard security protocols to protect the security of your online order information. To check the security of your connection, look at the top center, or lower right-hand corner of your browser window after accessing the server. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser), then the security is active and the server is secure. You can also double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure server, the first characters of the website’s address will change from "http" to "https." Some versions of browsers and some firewalls don't permit communication through secure servers. In that case, you won't be able to connect to the server and therefore won't be able to place an order through a secure connection. If you cannot access the secure server for any reason, please scan our shopping page and place your order via email: stickysituation@stickergum.com.

No security measures can be 100% secure, however, and so we recommend that you take additional measures to protect yourself and your information. These recommendations include installing up to date anti-virus software, closing browsers after use, keeping confidential your log-in credentials and passwords, and making sure that you regularly update software and apps you have downloaded to ensure you have enabled the latest security features on your devices.

Please note that such requests may take up to twenty (20) days to become effective.

Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we will never request personally identifiable information from anyone whom we know to be under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that a customer is under the age of 13 and has registered without prior verifiable parental consent, we will remove his or her personally identifiable registration information from our files.

As stated above, the Site may contain links to websites other than our own. Those websites may have their own privacy policy, or no privacy policy at all. Neither we nor any of our service providers have any responsibility for those websites, and we provide these links solely for the convenience of our visitors. Such links may be to advertisers, content providers or other companies who may use our logo and/or style as a result of a co-branding agreement. These websites may send their own cookies to you and may collect information and use it in a way inconsistent with this Policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms of use of any third-party websites or services before providing any of them with any of your Personal Information. Neither STICKERGUM nor any of our service providers control the content that appears on these websites or take any responsibility for their content, nor should it be implied that StickerGum endorses or otherwise recommends such websites or their products or services offered.

No transmission of data over the Internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. It may be possible for third parties not under the control of the Site to intercept or access transmissions or private communications unlawfully. While we strive to protect your Personal Information, neither the Site nor any of our service providers can ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us over the internet. Any such transmission is done at your own risk.

The laws of the State of New Jersey will govern these disclaimers, terms and conditions without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
